Cullen is a normal boy like any other.Or so he thinks.
He LOVES to read, and uses books as an escape from his  extremely mean foster parents, and has an 1000
year-old wizard fighting his
fiance IN his body. So while he's dealing with normal kid drama, AND his craxy foster parents, he also has to deal with the wizard in his body!!!

The story is based in Celtic Mythology (I love books with celtic stuff!) because the
authors (Christine and Ethan Rose) are from Scotland.

I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars and would suggest it to fairly mature readers
years 8 and up.
By the Way, I am SO lucky to have met Ethan Rose at the Arlington Highland Games!

When Rosemary arrives home from collecting herbs she finds her home in ashes. She keeps telling herself her mom survived but in her heart she knows not. Rosemary sets off, dressed as a boy to join Robin Hood (her father). She meets Guy of Gisborn, a harper called Lionel, and receives a present of a sturdy bow and arrows with peacock feathers from her kin the elfe. She finds her father but before she can tell him who she is, he's captured! She and her new friends have to work together to set him free.
Rowan Hood by Nancy Springer is perfect for children ages 9-12 and I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Anita is a typical 16 year old. The day before her birthday her super sweet boyfriend Evan askes her to meet him at the dock. He takes her out on a boat (swoons! So romantic!) and gives her an amber necklace. He was about to tell her somthing when they crashed. She wakes up to find him sleeping over and over for 5 days. On the 6th day he isn't there!!! She starts having weird dreams. Is she going crazy or could there be a different, mystical world?
The Faerie Path by Allen Jones is a definite must-read. I give it 5 stars (!) and would give it to children 10 and up.

Born in Yate, Gloucestershire, England, Joanne Rowling was writing from the start. Her first story was about a rabbit. Along with writing, Rowling was an avid reader, particularly loving the Chronicles of Narnia. Nine years later, the Rowling's moved to Tutshill and attended Wyedean Comprehensive School. Joanne then entered College and earned a Bachelors in French. In 1990, J.K.'s mother passed away. According to Rowling, this distressing event assisted in writing the Philosopher's Stone. Her agent helped her get a publishing deal with Bloomington, resulting in the movies, merchandise, etc.
Love you Rowling!
